Brandon Bandy (b.1994) is an artist and publisher in Los Angeles.
Drawing on the histories of Post-Internet, Institutional Critique, and Conceptualism, his work parses ideas of the virtual, visual conventions, and the facade of the image through a transmedium practice. His work often centers site, perspectives of the lens, and devirtualization, as means of engaging with the virtual in physical space. This often manifests in the creation of mechanically produced objects which begin as text or metadata and are cycled through stages of materialization and dematerialization through photographic mediation.
